OTC means safe not effective.
Yet this is good example no real studies were ever done by FDA.
Coughing is a protective mechanism. Treat causes not sign & symptoms.

I would be interested in knowing why these syrups were deemed FDA-approved without proof of safety and efficacy in kids?
