Added: October 13, 2008 | Time 02:57 | Views: 165

Gloria Carrel of Fort Wayne, Ind., is a pediatric nurse who found a small lump in her breast that turned out to be cancer. After a lumpectomy, she needed radiation therapy. Gloria searched for someone that offered the cutting edge breast cancer treatment called MammoSite that administers targeted radiation internally for just five days with limited side effects. A friend mentioned Goshen Center for Cancer Care, so Gloria met with Goshens director of radiation oncology and never looked back. After receiving her final treatment for her breast cancer on a Friday, Gloria went back to work the next Monday. Today, Gloria lives life to its fullest and says she feels healthier than she did before her diagnosis, and feels that her faith guided her through treatment.
