This is a great, clear definition of preventive medicine and a good overview of whats going on in the genetic field. I keep hearing docs talking about this early genetic testing but it kinda scares me to think of the parents perhaps getting rid of a baby because prenatal testing shows the baby has some horrible disease. I've heard a couple of stories of that... are they urban myths?
