I get them every year. Even though they hit the main strains that year - when I get the shot - if I do get the flu it's always much less intense and manageable.

I really don't like to get flu shots, because they are just projecting what strains are going to be a problem in any given season. I suppose they probably don't hurt much, though.

I have had the flu shot every year for more than 10 years and I have never had the flu -- thanks for debunking the myths.

Flu vaccines are great! My whole family got the flu one year except for my dad - he was the only one smart enough to get his flu shot.

I have not ever gotten a flu shot.....because I always heard it made you really sick afterwards. Good to know that is a myth.
