Nighttime, home dialysis more beneficial to kidney failure patients than conventional dialysis

In the U.S., most people with serious kidney disease must go to medical clinics three times a week to receive dialysis. That’s when a machine cleans their blood because their kidneys don’t do the job. But a new study says these patients would likely be better off doing their own dialysis at home while they sleep at night.
