What is neurology?

Neurology refers to the specialty of medicine that focuses on nerve problems. Neurological disorders can affect the brain and spinal cord, or any other nerves, plus their muscles and blood supplies. A neurologist diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions. Some of these conditions include headaches, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis…even speech and language disorders.
