Added: January 16, 2008 | Time 03:33 | Views: 2,606

Lacey Wood is 18 years old and a freshman college student at DePaul University in Chicago. As a child, Lacey received a heart transplant. In high school, Lacey was diagnosed with kidney failure and in need of yet another transplant. In 2006, Lacey received her kidney transplant from none other than her brother.

This inspirational video outlines Lacey's rigorous path to college and serves as a true testament to the power of organ donation and the greatest gift of all...the gift of life.
