I wore a pedometer for weeks and it really works. You become aware of how many steps you are taking each and every day. I averaged about 10,000 steps a day which is pretty good from what I was told. Of course I would have liked to walk 15,000 steps a day.

What could be simpler and easier than this -- especially now that it is proven, there is no excuse!

Being conscious of your daily activity is so important. A simple thing like walking can do wonders for your health. I spend most of my time on the water and still walk about 10,000 steps a day.

I had an inexpensive version and it broke... so I invested in a $22 one. I feel cool and I don't worry about it falling off. Highly recommend going higher-end.

I disagree on cost. I just bought one at a local running store for $20 and it missed 3 steps on a two mile walk. It was a Timex.

You can purchase a pedometer anywhere...online, wal-mart..many fitness stores carry them. I've found that the more expensive the pedometer, the more accurate it is.

Anybody know where you can go to purchase a pedometer?

Wearing a pedometer really makes you aware of your fitness level. I try to wear mine everyday.
