Disabled American Veterans National Convention: An Overview

More than 3,000 Disabled American Veterans visited New Orleans for their national convention in August 2007. Members came for fellowship and for fun, but also to set DAV's legislative agenda for the new year. At the top of the list is improving healthcare. Listen to some of their stories.

"they wish we were dead yesterday"....thats powerful. There is no excuse. Why can't our country take care of its people?
